Coaching

The club has an active coaching policy and all members are eligible for coaching. The club is registered as a "Premier Club" at Advanced Level by the English Table Tennis Associations "National Coaching Scheme".

Coaching at Generation 2 has been a long term success and many young players have progressed through the coaching framework to become Table Tennis Champions at many levels. Many of our young players attain high national rankings at Cadet as well as Junior levels.

All our coach's are very experienced players and coaches who can help with your skill development at all levels of play from beginner to national champion.

When do we train?

Regular training and coaching sessions are held on a Monday and Friday 7pm - 9.30pm in the main sports hall at Neville Lovett Community School, Fareham.

Monday night is primarily a practice night as we only have access to 10 tables that evening. Two Multi-ball tables are available for those who do want some coaching.

On Friday night's we use upto 12 tables. The hall is divided into 2 coaching squads - beginner and advanced. Multiball is a major part of our coaching strategy and all participants practice using it as well as other training aids such as a robot.
